Of course, you'll be right at the heart of one of Germany's most visited role-playing conventions.

What are your tasks?

The tasks that arise at FeenCon are diverse. We can use every helping hand and deploy all volun-heroes according to their strengths.

No one has to do everything. If you have back problems, you certainly won't have to carry anything heavy. If you're a trained electrician, we'd love to have you helping with the technical team.

Typical tasks include, for example:

• Staffing entrances and admission control
• Game session management
• Tidying up, both small tasks in between and the big cleanup at the end of the event
• Answering questions from visitors, vendors, and exhibitors
• Preparing exhibitor and vendor booths
• Preparing and supervising presentations and readings
• Serving drinks and food at FeenCon's own grill stand
• Staffing the info stand
• Running errands and transport services
• Pre- and post-event preparation
• Supporting the area leads
• The most important task: creating a beautiful and lovingly designed convention

Very importantly: We won't take up your whole weekend as a volunteer. You will, of course, have the opportunity to check out the exhibitors and vendors, listen to presentations, or participate in game sessions yourself. Currently, we plan for each volunteer to take a shift of about 4-6 hours. The more people involved, the better. So feel free to bring some friends along.

Meetings on Discord

Currently, volunteer meetings take place on our Discord server every first and third Wednesday evening. You can participate to stay informed about the latest developments, and shifts for the event days will also be coordinated there at the appropriate time. These meetings are not mandatory, but we would be delighted if you could attend at least some of them so we can plan your deployment and you can receive all the important information.
